Because often we underestimate the the magnitude of what is going to happen in us when we intersect our life with that of a child in another country.
We know that getting involved with an organization like Compassion International is going to help change a life...we just never fully expect that the greatest change will potentially be in us.
That we are the one's that are rescued. Our eye's begin to open and we begin to realize that we are truly "the hands and feet" of Jesus to the world!
